BASIS Scottsdale Boosters’ Lunch Fundraising Program FAQ
How will the Lunch be served this school year?
We are following the complete guideline as per the CDC. The lunch would be served in the MPR. Any server handling the food would be wearing disposable gloves anytime they are handling the food. Sounds great, but why doesn’t the school have a real cafeteria that serves lunches?
As a public charter school, BASIS Scottsdale receives less funding from the state compared to regular public schools nor does it receive any subsidies for a lunch program. Since there’s no cafeteria, the Boosters Parent Association offers lunches, that can be ordered online. The money raised from the Boosters' School lunch program is used to fulfill our mission to support BASIS Scottsdale students and staff and to support the school's community, such as teacher lunches, classroom materials, student activities etc. |
What’s included in the Main Entree Meal?
